Privacy Policy

Hunter ("the App") is developed by Muell Haus Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Data that stays on your device

Your card collection — every card you swipe, your hunting list, custom lists, and scan history — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never sent to our servers.

If you are signed in to iCloud, your collection data syncs automatically across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. This sync is handled entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

2. Card show features

If you choose to participate in a card show, you can optionally share a subset of your collection with other show participants. When you do:

• Account creation: You sign in with Apple. We receive only your Apple-provided user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name. We never receive your Apple ID email unless you opt in.
• Shared card data: Only the cards and sets you explicitly select are uploaded to our server (hosted on Supabase). This data includes card IDs, set IDs, and whether each card is marked as "collected" or "hunting".
• Profile information: Your chosen display name, emoji avatar, and optional table number are visible to other participants at the same show.
• Matching: We compare your shared cards with other participants' shared cards to find mutual trade opportunities. Match results are visible only to the two matched users.

You can stop sharing at any time using the sharing toggle in the show settings. When you leave a show, your shared card data for that show is deleted from our server.

3. Camera and photos

The App uses your device camera to scan Pokemon cards for identification and condition grading. Card images captured by the scanner are processed by third-party AI services (Google Gemini and OpenAI) for identification purposes. These images are sent directly from your device to the AI provider and are not stored on our servers. Please refer to Google's and OpenAI's privacy policies for how they handle data.

The App may also access your photo library if you choose to scan a card from a saved photo. Photos are only accessed when you explicitly select them.

4. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Pokemon TCG API (pokemontcg.io) — to retrieve card data, images, and pricing information. No personal data is sent to this service.
• Supabase — to host card show features (authentication, card sharing, and matchmaking). Data stored on Supabase is limited to what is described in Section 2.
• Google Gemini / OpenAI — to process card images for identification and grading, as described in Section 3.
• Apple CloudKit — to sync your local collection across your devices, as described in Section 1.

5. Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• Your location (the App does not request location access)
• Analytics or usage tracking data
• Advertising identifiers
• Contacts, calendars, or any other personal data on your device
• Payment or financial information

6. Data retention and deletion

Your local collection data persists on your device (and iCloud if enabled) until you delete the App or clear its data.

Card show data on our server is deleted when you leave a show. If you wish to delete your account and all associated server data, you can do so by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The core collection tracking features work without an account and store data only on the device. Card show features require Sign in with Apple, which is managed by the parent or guardian's Apple ID settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
